⚠️
Routes into the UK do not allow pets in cabin. All pets entering the UK must travel as manifest cargo (e.g. PetAir UK / IAG Cargo). This is a UK government rule, not an airline policy. Exceptions: guide/assistance dogs and chartered private aircraft.
🇺🇦
Ukraine airspace is closed. All travel with pets from Ukraine is land border only. Airlines listed fly routes from neighboring countries where Ukrainian refugees and their pets often transit. Use the Documents tool for UA-specific paperwork.
🌺
Flying to/from Hawaii — important notice.Hawaii has strict pet entry rules separate from the US mainland. Most airlines do not allow pets in cabin or checked baggage on Hawaii routes. Cargo via specialist handlers is the typical option. Always confirm with your airline before booking any Hawaii itinerary.

Mexico routes — airline rules ≠ country entry rules.Airline pet cabin policies and Mexican pet import requirements are separate things. Even if your airline allows a pet in cabin, you must meet Mexico's SENASICA health certificate requirements. Check the Documents tool for full import paperwork.
🇨🇦
Canada routes — airline rules ≠ border entry rules.Airline cabin pet policies and Canadian pet import requirements (CBSA/CFIA) are separate. Verify Canada's border entry requirements independently of your airline's cabin policy. Use the Documents tool for full paperwork.
⚠️
Interline/codeshare flights — check every carrier. If your itinerary includes a connecting flight operated by a different airline, that carrier's pet policy applies to their leg. Pet rules do not transfer between codeshare partners. Verify with every carrier on your itinerary.
